Albacom gain insight with ProClarity
When Dundee based Albacom wanted to improve their Sales, Forecasting and Production analysis capabilities, they turned to EJS Ltd for specialist advice on Business Intelligence.
‘Producing the necessary Business Reports from the companies existing ERP system was time consuming and IT resource intensive. The Sales Department needed to have better visibility of quotes and forecasted sales. The Production department also needed quicker access to data to help make improvements in planning, which has a knock on impact to purchasing. Unfortunately, with our existing reporting capabilities neither department couldn’t easily access all the information they needed to make the most profitable decision.
To address these issues we have made the decision to deploy ProClarity. Soon the Sales, Finance & Production Departments will have the information they need when they need it without having to involve an IT resource. This in turn helps Albacom to continue moving forwards with our plan for overall business improvement. The less time we spend creating reports means the more time we have to spend on progressive projects such a CRM & Document Management; helping to keep Albacom ahead of the competition.’
